Erasmus Couriers Go Green: A Guide to Going Green

Erasmus+ Couriers Go Green is a project that aims to reduce the environmental impact of courier services in Europe.

The project involves 7 partners from 5 countries, who are working together to develop and implement innovative solutions for green logistics. The project activities include research, pilot actions, a suggested green strategy for courier-postal companies, a self-rate tool, a training course, certification and dissemination events. The project also promotes the exchange of good practices and experiences among the partners and other stakeholders.

The main objectives of the project are to:

- Increase the awareness and skills of courier service providers and their employees on environmental issues and sustainable mobility.
- Improve the efficiency and competitiveness of courier service providers by adopting green technologies and practices.
- Foster the cooperation and networking among courier service providers, public authorities, educational institutions, and civil society organizations.
- Contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution caused by courier service transport.
